Recommended reading for Entrepreneurs only

I am re reading a book that was given to me called, The Business of 21st Century by Robert Kiyosaki.

Here are some of my bullet points from the first chapter:

  • 61% of Americans say they would like to be their own boss
  • 84% people would be more passionate about working if it were their own business
  • When the economy is down, entrepreneurial activity heats up
  • In times of uncertainty we look at ways to generate income
  • the average household net worth for entrepreneurs are 5 times that of conventional employees
  • entrepreneurs are teh key to turning around this ecommic crisis
  • 72% of all Americans would rather work for themselves than for a job. 67% think about quitting their jobs 'regulary' or 'constantly.'
This book is a must read anyone that falls into one of those percentages above.

Enjoy,

Jeff

Opportunity Meeting last night in Scottsdale AZ

Last night we had our Thursday night meeting.

I really enjoy doing these meetings.

I wrote 3 questions on the board:

  1. Who we are
  2. What we do
  3. How we do it
Pretty simple questions don't you agree?

We socialized with everyone for about half an hour then our meeting began.

I told my story and why I chose our business then I said this is what we do and who we are and simply played the video for everyone.

After the video ended I went into the 4 types of people after they watch the video. If you aren't famiiar it's in our new fast start guide.

We then had a few glowing testimonials about working for yourselves and shed some meaningful light for our guests.

I then thanked the guests for coming and also to see if they had a questions. I said we will be doing a little training on how we do what we do now and the guests are free to stick around and learn.

I gave everyone a Fast Start Guide and simply read from it. It's only 7 or so pages. We had some audience participation and then ended on a quick video a friend of mine posted on You tube.

I felt great about the meeting and the guests did too.

Our business really is this simple.

Have fun and share the good news!

CashFlow Game

Last night we went to play the Robert Kiyosaki Cash Flow Game. I found this through a meet up group. I really enjoy playing this game as it teaches me a lot of myself and how I work with my money and maybe others money. If you haven't played it yet, I would really encourage you to do so.

I also like to hang out with like minded people.

You can go to www.richdad.com and search through is communities for local games played around your town or you can just do a search on the internet which is what I did.

He also has a electronic game you can play online, but you won't get that interaction that you would get with meeting quality like minded people face to face.

Questions Are the Answers

Questions are the answers.

It all depends on the quality of our questions that determine our success in life and in our business, Send Out Cards.

How would you approach yourself? What questions would your respond positively to, to take a look?

Below are some questions that I have developed & use. Now keep in mind that we are all different; meaning different questions will be more useful than always using the same question. You cannot use, in my opinion, the same question for everyone because our situations are all unique.

"Would you mind watching this? I am looking for some people who would like to make some money.

"Hey, what are you doing later? I would like to show you something."

"Have you ever owned your own business or been in network marketing before?"

"Do you know of anyone who has their own business?"

"Do you know of anyone who has a home based business?"

"Have you ever watched the Send Out Cards DVD?"

"I need your opinion on who I should talk to about my business."

"Do you know of anyone looking at making some extra money?"

"How long have you been working here?" "Do you like what you do?" "Would you be open at looking at something else?"

"I am looking for people who are entrepreneurial. Have you ever thought about owning your own business?"

"Who is the most social person you know?"

Remember my main goal is to invite the 'right people to take a look at what I do. I am simply showing them our opportunity video.

You can do so one of two ways; hand them a DVD or give them your website. If you have a lot of rapport you can schedule a time to show them for best results. This is my preferred method, scheduling some time.

I hope this helps and remember the better your questions are with people the more you will pique their interest to find out more. Write out a few of your questions that you feel comfortable asking others.
